Tribal Umrah is an International Festival of Tribal Fusion Bellydance and hosts artists from U.S. and Europe. The first edition, in 2009, was in Biarritz and in 2010, Nîmes, France. This year we have the opportunity to host it in our city, Barcelona. The idea is to connect all the sister dancers coming from all over Europe and to promote this form of dance.

Reigning Down on Oregon is an annual belly dance retreat. We have amazing workshops of all varieties, a free yoga session, fantastic vendors with a dazzling array of goodies, an open hafla, a fire show, an instructor showcase, lodging in fairytale like cabins, and delicious prepared meals. This, our second year, features workshops from the following instructors: Zephyr, Leslie Rosen of Raqs Serpentine, Unmata, Katy Houseman, Dahlia Moon, Aubre Hill, Saqra and Cira. Lodging will be in very cute cabins which are only a few minutes drive from the main hall. Each cabin has one-two bathrooms with showers, large living area with couches, microwave, and separate bedrooms each with four bunk beds. They also have porches and are located in the same neighborhood and nearby the dining hall. Clark Dining Hall is a large, rustic facility featuring a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. Freshly prepared meals are available at a reasonable price.
